I need to ship a Li-ion Power Bank which I bought as a gift for someone. Both Couriers and Speed Post rejected the package since it contained batteries.

Is there any legitimate way to get it shipped to another state without having to lie about the package contents, etc.?

you easiest way out would be
if you bought it online, return it to company and then re-order it for the friend whom you want to deliver.

Well, If you bought it as a gift, while ordering online, you should just put their address, in the future at least. You could request the e-tailer to ship it for you as well.

Yeah, I bought it off Flipkart but unfortunately I was stuck with Cash on Delivery so I couldn't have it delivered directly. I don't think I can return it now as I've messed with the label pasted on the box (even though the box itself is unopened).

Oh well.

you dont have to declare to speed post that its a battery . Even if they ask dont tell them that its a battery , they will accept it .
