Sharing internet connection using bluetooth

gr8 .... Cos there r just below steps involved in vista... Provide a IP to ur bluetooth connection PAN (on main pc which has internet) ... like 192.168.0.1Leave the gateway as blank ...Activate PAN from laptop and set it to access PAN of ur desktop ...Once authentication is done then give the IP like 192.168.0.2 and gateway 192.168.0.1 to ur laptop's PAN ...Activate ICS for ur internet in ur desktopDone 🙂So I guess there shouldn't be this "activating ICS" step involved while paring in ubuntu ... right?

in linux u need to enable ip forward and NATing. in my PC its already enabled. so i just need to pair (setup kindof LAN) two. thats it.

hmm... Will check it soon ... btw how to enable ip forward in ubuntu ?

echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forwardu might also have to setup firewall to do NATing as well. i dont know default setup of firewall on ubuntu so can not give exact instruction right now. but it may be much easier and they might even have provided some GUI for doing all these.
