sharing file on hathway broadband network???

I and my friend have Hathway broadband connection, i have unlimited night downloadand my friend have download limit og 1 gb.Now wht i want:i want to share files and movies on my HDD with my frind.Is it possible on network.....since we r in hathway network.Or if not..then how can i setup an FTP server on my HDD to share with my friend....and most important ..if my friend is copying the files from my hdd ...will it be count in the download limit for his connectionthanksAH

dont try to share any files on hathways network...
if u r not doing it in ur unlimited period, it will count in ur data usage.....
Theres no as such any lan in hathways network
also in my case of 512k blast pack i can only upload at spds of 128k only(that means the other guy can dload based on ur upload spd only), so its better to dload stuff frm the net.

I am currently on LAN based internet service provided by my cablewallah....Now my cablewallah has tied up with hathway, and there are rumours, that hathway might close file sharing....I get a download speed of 8-10 MBps from my lan......!!
