i don't understand.. you say u have set up a website on ur machine.. if that's true, then all u shud have to do is to start ur web browser and then enter ur ip address in it.. that doesnt work?

oh ok.. thats pretty easy, u need to create a virtual server.. login to ur adsl modem by typing 192.168.1.1 in ur browser...click on advanced->virtual serverin the space for ur private ip, u need to type in the ip address of ur computer.. if u have only one computer connected, which i am assuming here, it shoult be 192.168.1.3 so type that in the box.. leave protocol as ANY.. now type the port on which u are running the server.. this should be 80 by default.. type that in here.. click on tools->misc->save and rebootu shud be good to go..there is another way, which will not require u to setup port forwarding.. u can create a dmz which will expose all ur computers ports.. it is said to be risky but if u dont have any services running on all the other ports then u shud be fine.. to enable dmz, go to advanced->dmz and type in ur ip address (192.168.1.3) and then tools->misc->save and reboothope this helps! write back..
