Here's a nice way to schedule your download to start from 2AM and to go on till 8AM without waking up the whole night for it.
1. Firstly switch off your router's auto dial feature. Most of you know this, those who don't can refer to Manual or ask me through PM.
2. Download and setup any cronjob software utility like NNCRON www.nncron.ru
3. Set up NNCRON to make a connection with the internet at 2.15AM to be on the safer side.
4. Set up NNCRON to start download application or schedule your download program to run after 2.15AM since connection to the net will be available to it.
5. Set up NNCRON to disconnect at 7.50AM.
Setting up NNCRON is quite easy I feel from my personal experience. You can find several freeware cronjob utilities on the net too.
