I purchased a Sansui DDB LED back in 2013 which comes with inbuilt HD set top box from D2H. In the meantime I relocated to another city in 2016 and in moving somehow the inbulit STB stopped working. Called CC D2H and the technician told me that the card is damaged/corrupt and it will be changed by the sansui company and not by D2H. I then called Sansui people, and the technician told me that the card will be replaced and the cost will be 3000/-.
I was surprised !! the cost of new STB was 1800-2000 at that time. I denied him and used another spare STB for the mean time.
Now I decide to change the card (as the purpose of inbuilt STB is lost) only to findout that sansui has exited the Indian market!!
Is there anyway to repair the inbuilt STB, be it official of unofficial?
