I have to travel tomorrow to Chennai from Delhi. I have to take some machinery part with me and weighs around 22Kg.
Although Air India says 15Kg as baggage allowance. But nothing is written on my ticket and baggage allowance column is blank.
So what do you guys suggest. What can i do and will they be nice enough to accommodate. Or will i have to pay extra and what will be the charges.

Well i cant argue with them after a polite request that there is no baggage mentioned on the ticket and not even on the website?

No. They will probably quote the policy...

I will try to stand behind a person with no baggage in the line... Have seen air India guys make exception and they club the baggage

My total baggage came out to be of 26.4Kg 😛
And guess what the guy didnt say a word about the excess baggage 😀
After that i met my "mama" by surprise who was going to bangalore and he told me for the passenger who holds frequent flier card the baggage allowance is 25Kg
