Saavi lives on hilltop with her
brother Dholan and few buffelows. Dholan falls in love with Malo, sister of rich gujjar at Minjjar mela,Chamba. Bhakhtawar khan, brother of malo comes to know about their love affair and wants to teach Dholan a lesson. He goes to Dholan ‘s home and threatens Dholan to keep away from Malo. Saavi sees this and confront Bhakhtawar and ask him to leave. Bhakhtawar mesmerize by Saavi’s beauty and ask Dholan to come to his home. Dholon along with friend Jaani goes to meet Bhakhtawar. After Malo’s marriage Bhakhtawar goes to Dholan house and ask for Saavi’s hand as per batta-satta. Dholan refuses as they never discussed this before, but Panchayat asks Saavi to marry Bakhtawar’s four year old nephew. On the first night bhakhtawar tries to force himself on Saavi unsuccessfully. She left the place with Ranjhu to other place and raise Ranjhu. She wants to consume her marriage with ranjhu when he turns 18 yr old. Bhakhtawar enquire about Saavi and come to know that she is unmarried. He ask Dholan to marry Malo thinking that he will get Saavi as Batta-Satta without telling Dholan and Jaani. On his 18th birthday while Saavi wanting to give him surprise… Ranjhu brings home Bhakhto whom he loves and wants to get married. Saavi’s world shattered but she controls herself and and makes herself ready for the upcoming challenges. Finally she sacrifices her life while fighting against the wrong customs.
