Routing Issues With Airtel V Fiber?

Hey guys. Over the last week or so I seem to be having some routing issues with Airtel. For example, support.amd.com takes too long to respond. Almost like it is a dns issue so I changed it to the open DBS ne. I think it is still there. Upon connecting to a VPN though I am able to access rue above website.

Can anyone else confirm the issue? I live in Sector 57 Gurgaon.

dns issues occurs from time to time in vfiber.
5-10mins for twice or thrice a day, Resolves itself after sometimes.
changing to google , open n back to airtel dns doesn't changes anything.

can you post ping ,nslookup and tracert details ... to check if routing issue is there

to check those details open command prompt or windows power shell and type as below

1> ping support.amd.com -t

to stop press ctrl+c

to see if there is a packet loss , latency spikes or high latency

for google dns -> nslookup support.amd.com 8.8.8.8
for open dns -> nslookup support.amd.com 208.67.222.222
for airtel dns -> nslookup support.amd.com 202.56.215.55

this command will show which server site is using when using different dns

3> tracert support.amd.com

this command will display route from ur router to support.amd.com


and are u using secure site or unsecure site of support.amd.com ? are u using any kind of antivirus software that inspect https packets ?

I am simply using support.amd.com to which it redirects to whatever. If I use a VPN, it works. Just about 10 minutes ago, my connection seems to have had stopped and now it is back up, though the AMD website is still not working. I am using Bitdefender but the ScanSSL option is disabled.

seems like issue starts from 4th hop .. which should also be airtel owned routing device ... ( feels like airtel issue )
which router/modem do use ? do u use fiber or VDSL ? are there any issue with other sites as well ?
do a tracert 96.17.182.42 & tracert www.google.co.in ?
