coke originally contained COKE (the actual coke). later on they had to change their formula to meet government regulations. it is very unlikely that the coke available today has either the COKE or alcohol. government regulations are too restrictive to let them get away with it.

here is the thing. finding tiny traces of alcohol in a batch in one market does not mean that the formula itself contains alcohol. it could be contamination. if coke or pepsi actually had any alcohol, it would have been caught by the food related regulatory bodies around the world.
