Haven't used Windows profiles since I dumped my TV tuner card so I don't know the 'correct' way to go about this but a simple workaround is to use a command line res changer utility on startup. Different params for different profiles. I just tried two and both work fine, the first seems more sophisticated. They both let you set color depth & refresh rate too
Come to think of it these could help web designers or anyone whose resolution/refresh rate gets garbled after running a badly programmed app. A quick shortcut (preferable using AutoHotkey ) could immediately fix everything.
