I have been stuck with BSNL for the last 6 years and finally wanted to move out. I checked Airtels broadband coverage as per their website and it had my neighbouring road and both of my adjacent roads in the list. After a chat with an Airtel executive (and his confirmation that feasibility is there) I booked the connection online paying 1000 rs.
But, Airtel have since then started calling me and forcing me to take their 4G as there is no feasibility for my address (really? how could roads all around mine have it? or is the website false?). I am still in the process of trying to get my money back from them.
The only other option in this area is Hathway. I have asked for 3 month subscription and am hoping that all goes well.
Its really appalling that one of Bangalore's oldest residential areas lacks ISPs! And its been hard finding out if any other player does exist in this area. Some of your feedbacks would help!!
