Reliance Truly Unlimited Plans with Unlimited Free Calls, Free Roaming and 2G/3G data Launched

Reliance Communications (RCom) has today announced the launch of its Truly Unlimited plans which include Voice calls, SMS, 1x, 2G, 3G and even roaming.



*Unlimited 1299 plan: Reliance CDMA 1x and 2G users will be able to make unlimited calls to any Local and STD numbers (On-net and off-net) and also enjoy free roaming all over the country. Also they will be able to enjoy free local and national SMS (capped at 6000 on TRAI’s regulation) along with unlimited data usage too.

*Unlimited 1499 plan: Reliance 3G users unlimited calls to any Local and STD numbers (On-net and off-net) and also enjoy free roaming all over the country. Also they will be able to enjoy free local and national SMS (capped at 6000 on TRAI’s regulation) along with unlimited 3G data usage (with FUP of 5 GB at high speed) too.

*Unlimited 899 plan: Unlimited Local and STD calls to any network from home circle and roaming is chargeable at just 1p/sec. All Local and National SMSes in this plan are chargeable at 50p/SMS and data usage is chargeable as per the existing rate.

These plans are available to all GSM and CDMA users to opt in for except for BlackBerry users. And new users will have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 850 when they opt in for these plans.
 
It's not unlimited if there is a FUP. It is as simple as that.
 
yup.. FUP is of 5GB still , these plans are best for heavy callers & Not For Heavy Downloaders 🙂
 

Using it. Reliance executive who told me about it earlier called today. He clarified that unlimited calls are actually limited to 100Hrs/month. Though it is much more than I need, some of you might need to reconsider the plan.
