reliance netconnect is throttling torrent speed

I saw this since yesterday. I've been getting 150-170 KBps in idm. But on torrents I'm getting 40-50 max speed. I've tried downloading 2 to 3 different torrents, but I can see definitely speed is throttled. Any idea how to counter that?

VPN? Though not sure, how well it'd work on a wireless connection. Try downloading one of the Ubuntu ISOs to test speed.

I was getting an avg torrent speed of 110-120 KBps, two days before. But, clearly torrent speed is being throttled. I tried downloading a torrent with good seeds, but yet avg speed us 30-40 KBps. My browsing and idm speeds are normal. And, to top it, today is the last day of my billing cycle, and my remaining night usage is 1.5 GB. I'll have to check it out tonight whether my speeds are throttled or not.
