Reliance Jio Fiber - Low latency

From what I have seen from trial users in my state,(Kerala) Jiofiber has one of the worst latency to foreign servers. Even BSNL seems to do better in this regard. Now Jio seems to promise very low latency connections which is a requisite for gaming. Usually these types of low latency gaming connections are only seen in developed countries. How is Jio planning to reduce the latency considerably in its existing networks? Is that truly possible or is it another marketing gimmick?
 
Just a marketing gimmick.
I sincerely don't understand how did they put monetary value on so called "Zero Lag" Gaming.
