Finally understood Gold Plan (2Years)

Gold plan is 250 Mbps aur 500 GB Data per month.
so that becomes 500 x12 = 6000 GB
But the gold plan is of 2 years so X 2 that gives us 12000 GB.
But then jio gives additional data i.e. 12000 GB so now total is 24000 GB
So in a way its 1 TB per month (24000 GB divided by 24 months)

How GOLD annual plan works?
250 Mbps with 500 GB data per month so that becomes 500 GB X 12 = 6000 GB
Now read update 2, you have to choose one of the three options, I guess most will go with double data.
so double of 6000 GB is 12000 GB. So that becomes 1 TB per month.

Now the doubt remains how will they give out additional data. The double data will be capped on a monthly basis as well. So, you will get 1 TB per month. You cannot use 12,000 GB data as you like.

[UPDATE]: If you want HD TV then you have to get the 2-year plan, otherwise you can opt for an annual plan. So 12000 TB in total for 12 months. (Unconfirmed) If you opt for HD TV you won't get double data, read Update 2 for further clarity.

[UPDATE 2]: In long term plans you have to choose one of the following 3 options:-
1. Choose to receive a product with your annual plan, in this case TV 24 inch, or
2. 2 months extra free, or
3. Double data.
You can only opt for one out of the three, and this condition is applicable for all long term plans.

Thanks for clarifying this.
I am going to opt for silver plan for first month and if the information you have posted is correct then will shift to Gold one.
2 queries-
1. Do we get to carry forward data like it happens in airtel.
2. What happens if jio launches more attractive plans in few months time.

additional data i.e. 12000 GB ???? Extra GB is 250x24 Months = 6000GB

wait a minute
Extra GBs are available for 6 months as introductory Benefits.
so total extra GB for 6Month 1500GB.

1. you will get 6000 gb for 12 months (short term) - per month 500

2. extra 6000 gb for 12 months (long term) + 2 months extra (or you can choose a stupid 2" inch by paying for 2 years OR get 2 months extra service. Yes its confusing fuck jio)

3. so for 14 12 months = 12000 gb

4. + 250x6 = 1500 gb promotional for 6 months

so total for 14 12 months = 13500 gb (approx 1125 gb per month)

if you opt for 2 year plan you will get a 24" tv worth Rs 4k realistically but you may not get extra 2+2 = 4 months (this needs to be clarified)

Cost for 1 year (14 12 months) = 15588 + 2806 gst = 18394 (2500 Extra installation for new users)

@Sushubh you can move this to a new thread.

He is talking about yearly plan. And it will be 1 tb per month.

are kya bakchodi hai aise kon plans banata hai intne terms and condition bale. Anyway I have updated post with correction.

I am in no mood to opt for the annual plan. I'll opt for the 3 month Silver plan and if all goes well opt for the Gold 6 month commitment plan post 3 months. I was expecting something in between Silver & Gold plan in terms of pricing (1K approx) and would have been a perfect fit for most. Never the less, 450 GB per month is more than enough for me to start with and sit and watch for any further developments. Giving an upfront commitment of 6 month or more just seems lame to me for now.
