It's probably old news. 65000 mobile towers of BSNL are being transferred to Reliance.
Terminating the life of BSNL. LOL
BSNL is as good as dead. I am also going to disconnect both my landlines (one of them is broadband ADSL) some time this year. Total waste.
I was their earliest broadband subscribers back in Jan 2005 just when they started ADSL service I remember, still they don't bother to maintain/upgrade their services.
Their loss. Good riddance.
sadly bsnl's loss is eventually taxpayer's loss.

I don't see Reliance taking over the Bsnl employees........ most of them do nothing and get free salary and pension.
Their wire line business is already in the ending stage. If the towers also go, what is left to do ?
