Does this also mean that JioCinema will no longer be available freely (even basic) for all Jio Telecom customers? In this case, they are just following Airtel Xstream which also doesn't provide much these days.

Jio earlier used to offer annual subscriptions only for Jio Cinema Premium. At the time of launch, the subscription used to cost Rs 999 per year.

However, the company has now changed the yearly subscription to a monthly subscription model and it now costs Rs 99 per month. So, the JioCinema Premium subscription now costs Rs 1,188 which is Rs 189 more expensive than the annual subscription model.
