The spectrum sharing and trading deal between Anil Ambani's Reliance Communications (RCOM) and Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio has been approved. Both companies will be allowed to share and trade airwaves from January 22.

Confirming our earlier report, the distributor said Jio will offer a MiFi device and 10 GB of data for Rs 700.

The cheapest MIFI device offer in the market is from Bharti Airtel, which offers 10 GB of 4G data and a Huawei E5573s MiFi device for Rs 1500.

The distributor was not sure whether the Jio device will contain a battery like the Huawei E5577.

Ridiculous pricing. For people who don't need 4G speed it makes no sense to move.
They have to do much better than that to get any market share.

May be some snail fast 40-50kbps POST FUP speed too, seriously 10GB for 700 doesn't make any sense here. For that high speed it won't last for a week on average to moderate uses .

No 3g user is going to buy a new phone or dongle without a very compelling reason.
