DTH technology via satellite broadcasting is costly and hence plan might not be competitive. Only hope is IPTV. Only IPTV can bring total package with all HD channels with very competitive price. Although I rarely watch TV but my family watch TV.

True but ,Jio deployed eMBMS in their LTE network technology, media streaming is possible with that ,without using data . May be they launch a device with LTE network support ,which can stream broadcasted program via their LTE network.
