Friends JIO also started carrier aggregation. Found this on net. If you have Samsung phone, you can check by dialling *#0011# and going into the MENU. Please comment in your area about CA status.

CA means this is using LTE-A (LTE Advanced) technology, right? Screenshot says "CA: ENABLED" but "LTE: BASIC" so bit confused.

Any idea what speeds people will get on JIO with CA enabled phones/devices? Airtel seems to be claiming "up to" 135 mbps with LTE-A carrier aggregation.

1. Speeds do not go beyond 20 Mbps (Previously they reached 60 Mbps at the same spot)
2. Jio is not having international bandwidth or traffic shaping everyone especially to Google servers
3. 4 GB a day will finish (4096 MB / 12.5 MBPS = 328 seconds or 5.5 minutes) if we take 100 Mbps actual speed divided by 8 to arrive of 12.5 MBPS download speed.
4. After that blissful 128 kbps

So why are they wasting time in carrier aggregation when they have serious network and routing issues?

@d5aqoëp I think they are intentionally throttling for the past few weeks. During early July I have downloaded over 40 GB straight from foreign servers at maximum speed. Also downloaded 60 GB in 7 hours from Uptobox. Now Uptobox does not even reach 2 Mbps.
