You are right. And admin has already created a Google doc for this kind of updating. Here is the doc....

And if you send him your email id, he will even give you the editing rights, i have got it, and even you all will get.
What this will do is -
1) Instead of all these threads scattered everywhere, any person who wants a full comparison, can just visit that doc
2) Since it is updated regularly by all of us, we will always get the latest info on all DTH providers
3) No personal bias of the person posting would reflect as well
4) And since it is a Spreadsheet, you can always hide a few columns if you need to compare between just 2 or 3 providers.

I insist you all join in this doc, it will be really nice & helpful.

Hi, Now I am using local cable connection for my TV.
Every day 5 to 10 munits cable disconnection, my favorite channel cancel, I am faceing this type of problems.
Till last mont the rental chages per month was Rs 150, From january on wards they are asking for Rs 200.

I am from bangalore. My favorite channels are All Hinid news & Sports & Hindi movies.
I want to cancel my cable connection and thinking for DTH or big TV or Tata Sky.

Please advice me which one good (cheap & Best) for me.
Please advice me a yearly plan. (I want to pay once for 1 Year).

If possiable please provide me the comparison list betweenl all sevice providers available in banglaore.

^^^^HD Like means upscaled HD. U take a 10 Rupees note, scan it, broaden it, add a zero to it......it will surely not become a 100 Rupee note. In fact, the new note will be even more useless than the original 10 Rupee note!

Is it upscaled SD or upscaled HD?
Is the aspect ratio of all the 250 channels 16:9?

Its upscaled HD. And aspect ratio of all such channels will be 4:3 stretched to 16:9.....its nothing different from watching an SD channel.
