ok found sales guy number : 9377590956 -
for Ahmadabad

Called on this number. He confirmed that dlc is 200 mtrs away from your location so we can't give you Metro ethernet. I argued what if i want freedom 999 _ 12 mbps plan. Sir that plan is discontinued. he said max distance from Cisco dlc to customer's premises is 100 mtrs. Which is technically correct. As cat5 cable can carry signal upto 100 mtrs only.I told him come over to my location tomorrow and show me your dlc location. 😛 which he agreed.is 12 mbps plan not available anymore?

right now go for any plan all r goood one

Sales guy took cheque and gave me caf slip. Installation should be done tomorrow. I clearly mentioned him that sync rate should be set to 8000 down stream 1024 upstream. And best thing is distribution box is next to my house. And if i remember correctly i had around 20000 kbps downstream when i had reliance in 2007.

connection is up and working. I am on 1099 - 4 Mbps plan. 🙂 currently getting around 2 Mbps. sales guy saying wait for 72 hours for speed effect. Downstream rate is 4096 kbps. 🙁 i argued i told you to set at higher than 4096. again same thing wait for 72 hours. what it has to do with this 72 hours thing ?

72 hours thing seems to be nonsense. Here I cant even access the modem page. Doesnt seem to accept any password combination.

LOL. 'speed effect' huh? You are being taken for a ride. 😕

You should get at least 3.5-3.7 Mbps on the 1099 plan if you're on ADSL. I'm getting 3.7 Mbps. 400 KBps from torrents and 475 KBps while downloading from HTTP/FTP. I haven't yet complained about the line rate issue as I'm pretty much satisfied with the speed I'm getting. I'll raise my voice later. For now, call 1860-200-2011.

Also, don't trust any speedtest sites. Download something from Microsoft or Apple and inform me the download speed that you're getting. Use IDM for downloading and set it to make 8 connections per download.

Revert back.

Hmm.. i haven't disconnected my BSNL HOME 750. 😛leasantry:

This is the current results.

Download from their own server .. still 190-200 KBps. :mad ():
