Hi,I have been having some problems relating to some TV tuner & USB drivers with my Win XP MCE SP2.I feel that it would be better if I reinstall the OS.I use a Web Distributor 2 Modem thru ethernet interface.I am running the 256 kbps package in bridged mode & there is a dialler thru which I connect.I want to know that after a fresh install of OS what settings would I have to make to get back online ?Or the only thing that I'd have to do is to make a dialler,fill in my password & username & dial ?Would the bridged mode work as before ?Thanks & I'd appreciate any help.

Reinstalling the OS will not help you if you have driver trouble. To set the problem right get the latest driver for your troublesome hardware from their site. Then go to cntrl panel->system->hardware->device Manager and uninstall the hardware by right click menu and reboot . Then start the add hardware wizard and install the new hardware drivers again.The bridge mode will work just fine as the bridge mode settings are stored in the modem , You will just have to create the connection again from network connections in control panel.
