Refurbished phones any good?

thinking of buying this one but dad isn't convinced . Says that new phone is better :\

refurbished that too from Usa .....no service .....run away (you dont know what will customs do!)what is the flipkart/street price of the same model? should be 50% cheaper to consider. as shipping it back abroad will cost minimum Rs 1000

Personal suggestion - avoid refurbished stuff , it has a high percentage of failures as compared to normal phones. You might be even better off getting say a Galaxy Y at 7k range in India.

They are not that common... Refurbished laptops are more common...But the point is over there even if you buy a refurbished you get warranty on it which you won't get in India ...

dad is right listen to him 🙂. Refurb. Phones are usually crap and come with some weird chinese 0s bitch to update them.
