Recorder on Hathway Set top Box

Any idea, when Hathway will be starting Recording facility on SD/HD set-top boxes?
New set top box is having USB slot. What I understand from other providers is that one needs to have external drive (min 4 GB size) to connect to set-top box and software upgrade for recordings.
Will there be any separate charges/plan for recording ?

All other DTH providers started recording facility with regular SD boxes as well. Looks like Hathway is lagging behind on technology upgrade.
 
Yes, right. They have signed contracts with couple of STB makers to get the DVR option but no idea what happened to that and no one seems to know when they will launch DVR.
