So I wanted to ask if you guys repaste and how often?
I have recently repasted 2 laptops with a 15°C drop under full load and 5°C drop when idle on one and a 20°C less on the other while gaming.
Heck even my RPI4b lost 4°C when idling.

The thermal paste used was Arctic MX4.
For the uninitiated repasting is replacing the stock thermal paste in your cpu or gpu with a newer better one.

Kingpin kpx is among the best non conductives right? Must perform very well but why repaste every 6 months?

Best when it comes to thermal conductivity, but these high-performing thermal compounds have a lower life, compared to mx4/mx5 that don't need repasting for 4-5 years. It is the same case for Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut, which had to be repasted in 6 months.
