Aslam Sher Khan announces RSS-like outfit to help Congress - Times of India
Former Hockey player Aslam Sher Khan on Wednesday announced formation of `Rashtriya Congress Swayamsevak Sangh' on the lines of RSS to help Congress during next year's assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
The new outfit will "assist Congress, like RSS helps BJP covertly, to win assembly elections next year," he said here.
The structure of RCSS will be the same as that of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh but without the Sangh's uniform, the Congress leader said.
Perhaps he forgot that Congress already has Seva dal, another RSS clone formed by Nehru.

For Shiv Sena, there is no grassroot/backend organisation, party itself acts as both :D

Country is run by these dogs. No one is interested to do seva to general public aka mango man. Political parties are fighting among each other, country can go to hell, mango man can go to hell.
We need one political party to run this country that's all. Its like one business having 100 CEO's, where is the focus? Business going no where. :p

India is a very diverse, multi-cultural, pluralistic nation. No party or man can alone represent the entire nation. This is why we need power to be decentralized and in the hands of many people, each acting as a check to excess of others'.

and looking at how modi government is operating, people should be praying for coalition governments instead of full majority governments. modi does not even have absolute power and look at what is going on in this country. just imagine what he would have done if he did not have to play nice while seeking votes or faced no opposition from the courts.

the government we have today does not even respect reasonable logical amendments recommended by the rajya sabha. probably because it does not make their corporate overlords happy. they want their own version of bills passed no matter how bad or flawed it is. taking in feedback from opposition is an insult to them.

Actually theoretically our constitution is very good.

States are like minor countries where CM is actually PM of that small country.

Central government is just supposed keep watch on states (and fund them) and decide on international matters.

Rajya Sabha represents states and Lok Sabha represents center (country level)

The problem here is that Modi government is finding all loopholes to bypass Rajya Sabha (and hence states)

When GST was not getting passed in Rajya Sabha due to lack of 3/4th majority.

That time "central" government agreed to many conditions of opposition just to get it passed.

That time I had pointed out - that as per law... once the GST is passed on Rajya Sabha... central government will have FULL power to amend it by passing bills. (because those bills dont require 3/4th majority)

This is exactly what is happening. Everything is getting cleared via Finance bill provisions.
