hi

i would like to buy a Graphics card for my system. The graphics card contains DDR3 memory module but my system has DDR2 memory module.

i.e DDR2 667 mhz on my system. but the Graphics card contains DDR3 RAM in it.

so will that Graphics card compatible to my system.

is that any necessary that both the RAM should be in same module.

my system configuration is

Intel 945 GNTL Motherboard
Intel Dual core 3ghz processor
DDR2 667mhz 1 gb

The Graphics card is Nvidia8600GT pci-express:

Chipset GeForce 8600 GT Memory 256 MB Bus Type PCI-E Memory Type DDR3

Nope it does not matter what RAM you have on the GPU, DDR1, DDR2 or DDR3..............

It is independent of the system memory. And in ur case it would surely work fine..................

@barani6600: ya memory is not the problem, just make sure your motherboard has the right pci-express slot and not an old agp 🙂
