Quake 3 Server on Triband??

Has anyone tried hosting Quake 3 Server on MTNL Triband??...I host but nobody including myself can connect to it..I forwarded TCP and UDP ports of 27960 - 27965 and hosted a dedicated Internet server on 27960..When I or any of my Triband friends try to connect to the server by specifying my WAN IP and the Port No. 27960, connection does not happen.. 🙁If anyone has any clue kindly repsond..Regards,Prasanna
 
if it works via LAN ( which it mostly will ) you could try using Hamachi.. it should work well with this
 
I have tried Hamachi earlier and it works wonders..But dont know why it is not happening directly when required ports are forwarded and with no firewalls in between the playing hosts..Is it the uPnp prob?
