Public Ip Available?

Hi,When we take a BSNL broadband connection, do they give us a public IP, so that we can host sites etc. on our computer?

No public ip..only static ip

anybody knows if there is any internet provider, offering a public ip at

BSNL on request provides static IP for business 5000
and above plans . Domain name is also available on
request for Business 5000 & above plans .

 

[Superdoc]

Tataindicom at 512kbps gives Static IP, me on 256kbps having Static IP since 1 half years.

tata indicom has a static ip n u can get the unlimited connection for 1800..

Superdoc and nightworlf, so if you have a static public IP... are you able to host service such as HTTP server on your TATA INDICOM computer for global access?
