I think trai can only hear and not decide thats why i thought this would be much better option
That depends on what you mean by "decide" -
TRAIis a regulatory body and thus decides matters of policy as far as the telecommunication industry goes.
TDSAT on the other hand is a body setup under the TRAI Act to adjudicate disputes.
If you want to make a difference, then I would suggest the following avenues:
[*]Contacting TRAI, perhaps with a petition, and highlighting deficiencies in
Tata Sky's service, or any other unfair/restrictive means they are using, so that they can take the necessary regulatory measures.
[*]Filing a complaint in the
District Consumer Forum against TataSky.
[*]Contacting news services (
TV and print) and letting them know about your efforts w.r.t. the first two points, and then letting them take that information to the public.
[/list]All this requires sophistication, as well as tremendous preparation and motivation. (Which is why it usually never happens).
It will be better to bombard them with E-mail ,phones etc.
That's why they hire customer care staff, so that they can sift through all that stuff and the management doesn't have to bother with that.
