“ The installation charge of Rs. 250/- shall be waived off for all new
Broadband connections booked between 01-03-08 to 30-04-08”.

well I donno about u guys I have never received a bill for this I took my connection in nov 06 and another in oct 07 never paid but now when I changed my plan in apr08 I was charged 500 gotta check that out still
 
@shamal007If you had changed your plan to Home500C plan,, then BSNL will collect Rs 500 towards security deposit.(one month charges as deposit for combo plans)

good.. type 1 is without wireless and with 1 usb/lan port i guess ! (in karnataka, type 1 is 4 port modem without wireless).

karnataka not giving as calcutta or west bengal telecom

see the offers on postpaid mobiles !! 🙁 people are ready to pay what ever they ask in bangalore ! thatz the main issue !!
