'CLEAN TV SCREEN!'

Do you hate those promo channels and 'pop-up' ads on your DTH TV service?

Not just irritating, they are ILLEGAL!

Read about this 'Air waves' Scam n spread the word!

‘Airwaves Scam’ by DTH operators and the ‘silent’ Government

Join the 'Clean TV Screen' campaign. Speak up! Your voice counts!!

After all, it is your TV, your SCREEN!!!

Just mail the below text to mib.inb@nic.in, secy.inb@nic.in, cp@trai.gov.in, advbcs@trai.gov.in

To, Minister, I&B and Chairman, TRAI.

Enough pretending asleep. Enough bowing to the lobby of broadcasters and DTH companies.

Enforce the forgotten, 20-year old Rule 7(10) (of Cable Networks Rules), AT LEAST NOW.

Put a STOP to the illegal DTH ad channels, 'part-screen' promos, scrolling ads and 'pop-up' messages encroaching the programme space and spoiling my TV viewing experience.

IT'S HIGH TIME FOR A 'SWACHH' TV SCREEN'!

I think we should aim at dumping Indian television altogether. From what I hear, Pakistani soaps are currently doing better than Indian soaps on Indian Television. I watched an episode of one such soap. And it did not take 20 minutes for one new development in the story.
