changing dns on your computer/mobile is whole lot easier than setting up VPN on a router or configuring a pi 😀

though 1.1.1.1 is turning out to be a good option wrt securing your phone traffic. no ad blocker though.

Is 1.1.1.1 slow for you too in comparison to 8.8.8.8 or its just at my place

personally i have started giving preference to privacy over performance. i am using warp+ permanently on my phone. on desktop, i am currently using encrypted dns. might switch to warp+ when it comes to chrome.

on mobile, it is easy to bypass apps like netflix from almost all VPN apps. warp offers a similar functionality.

yes agree, almost every ISP has peering to google.

also allowing some apps/programs to bypass vpn/ad-blocker is much easier with directly pc/mobile.

Yes, it is relatively new, maybe for past few weeks it has started showing daily usage.
