Problem with internet sharing on lan with Dlink 502T

hi i have the problem with internet sharing via lan. our lan is under the Ip address series is 10.0.0.X . i had connected the D-Link modem/router to the switch and provided the ip address is 10.0.0.201. and made the default gateway to the all computer is 10.0.0.201. still internet is not connecting. if i select the obtain ip address automatically in all lan computers . internet is working fine. plz suggest me how to configure the internet through the gateway. naga
 
Have you enabled DHCP ? what is the range ?Do you have a static IP allotted ? What is the tariff plan ?Mention modem model and D-Link router.model number.
 
hithank u for ur reply.yeah i enable the dhcp range from 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.254. and modem/router model Dling Dsl 502T. and connected to the switch assigened ip is 10.0.0.201.
