problem with hosting website from home

i have D-Link 2640t router and tried hosting a webpage on apche server on my pc ,i also used dyndns to map my dynamic ip address to a perticular site-name,but whenevr i type that name i get my routers site,but when i type localhost i get the homepage.since i am new 🙁can anyone help me with this.?

check if the port 80 is available to the Apache you installed.Until we know what OS you are using, its hard to make a correct guess.

You might be lacking port forwarding. Configure it on your router
