Hey frnds..I m using 300 kbps flat fee reliance plan.. I am able to download files upto 400-500 mb at a stretch.. But when i download a file which is bigger like 700-800 mb.. my reliance broadnet is disconnected after 4-5 hours downloading part file..Please give me the solutions so that i can download huge files at a stretch..Thank u

Use download manager.

No solution is available. I have a 256 Kbps plan. I tried 10 times last day to download a 700 MB file. Try and try again is the only solution available. Sites like link-removed do not allow resume download.

i read sumwhr that reliance renews the ip adress every 5-6 hours.. is that problem related to my query? can anybody solve this?

Only solution is go for BSNL HOME COMBO, Rs.500 plan. where you can get 2mbps free @ night. :thumbsup:Only high download speed solve your prob.

Dude, Is that A Problem then u sud Use Torrent Clients to Downland such Big Files..
Its Resumable and and u can anything today on Torrents what u Get on link-removed or RS links..

yes v can go for torrents.. but wat if files are of 1 gb or like that in RS or link-removed or VIPfiles or sumthing like that.. i found out that reliance renews my ip automatically every 6 hours.. so my connection of RS or link-removed is lost due to that.. i tried pinging continously yahoo.com or google.com so that my reliance connection is not lost due to inactiviy.. but den also the problem persists.. is there any way to stop renewal of my ip.. or any other solution?

If u r downloading frm RS as free user u have permission to access files only below 200MB200MB downloads in 2hrs. @300 kbps....If u r downloading frm RS as premium user then only u have permission to access files only above 200 MB....n premium users have resumable downloads

Okay.. but wat if i m downloading from other file sharing sites which allow huge single files to be downloaded at once? i think there is some technical thing in reliance broadband service which brings me to dis problem..

you should use download manager or you should use better plan
reliance disconnets net every 6 hrs.
it's best 2 download files via torrent

Even I used to face the same issue, I started keeping the Reliance home page (login) always open in FF, IE & Chrome and keep my torrent client on.. I have managed to download 1gb at a stretch .. But I haven't tried downloading via RS..
