They are just increasing the number of judges.

1 then 3 then 5 and now 9.

I guess soon whole India will be judge without coming to conclusion.

this is a big issue. more judges make sense.

sadly, only around 4-5 hours have been given for arguments.

These two tweets are SCARY ... REALLY REALLY SCARY!!

which means Government is telling ... FORGET fundamental right to privacy ... you dont have that in India ... we are even planning to pass the law which will take away said "common right to privacy".

Yes but what if 9 judge says... we need 18?

Is there a limit to number of judges?

It was obvious from day one that its big issue.

So case should have gone directly to TOP MOST bench with maximum number of judges that are allowed.

Why keep passing from lower to higher bench one by one.

mmm the government has already said that people do not have absolute rights over their own body. so this is essentially just part of it.
government is already working on dna profiling which makes the outcome of this even more important. soon they would be taking saliva sample along with fingerprints and retina scans.

and i think cji was quite clear today that they would hear the arguments tomorrow on the specific topic of privacy and give their judgement.

Saliva sample, lol. Then blood... and then what more? Sperm sample too?
