PPP Down Error

i have bsnl 500 combo plan and i frequently get ppp down error which means all lights are on but net still not working...this error comes too frequently and sometimes it lasts more than a day.... if i call the customer care they say its server problem and it will be automatically rectified...but its hampering my browsing experience...is there any solution for this??
 
Please mention modem/model/make/number.
If you are using a dialer ( enter UseriD/pw) in system window
try AlwaysON" PPPoE ( userid/pw entered/stored in modem WAn page)
Check my sticky post WA3002-G4 quick reference
and check the Calcutta telephones web site 036
or MP bsnl web site 027 and see whether your modem is listed.

i don't think its a modem problem...beacuse i have two modems dareglobal db 108 and D-Link g802c...and both give the same error when such problem arisesI'm not using any dialer...i manually configure the modem and it automatically connects
