The last time I asked this was for 3G prepaid (thread here) - and so far from what I've seen, both Vodafone and Airtel support carry forwarding data as long as we recharge before the pack expires.

But what about for postpaid? I'm looking to move to postpaid, either Vodafone (currently with them) or Airtel (preferably Airtel!) and would like to add family members and share data/plan etc. Carry forwarding data would be very useful.

Only interested in Vodafone and Airtel since I have both connections on prepaid and speed/connection is not bad. Plus I'm hoping to latch onto Airtel 4G once in a while too.

Any ideas?

Edit: To Moderator - maybe move this post to 'Mobile Services'? I think I posted on the wrong sub by mistake.

No one uses Postpaid here? 😕

why not carry forward data and share it also. using it on airtel prepaid.
airtel.in/family

Thanks @igloo - i was hoping to move to postpaid so there is less hassle of recharging every connection with rate cutters and stuff but just the data part might actually still help for now.

It seems only Idea offers this functionality on postpaid.

idea offers but carry forward is for just one month only.
