Possible speed increase from January?

So today I had a bizarre problem during connecting thru IPConnect. Contacted my cable guy & he said the they are changing the IP no's & also mentioned its due to change of speed to be effective from January. Likely the speed & BW will be increased from January.

Planning to visit he cable guy in the evening & ask about details. Will post an update later. Raining since morning so not been able to contact since. If anyone knows can share their information here.
 
Update:

Asked my cable guy directly & they said they have been notified about the speed increase by Alliance. Did not say how much or for how long(temp/perm) but there will be a speed increase in effect. Package prices may/will vary with some increment. Now they say no major increase in price, only minor like 20-50 INR but I am not sure.Already pay 630/- pm & if it goes over 700 I'll downgrade. They won't say full details before per company norms. Lets see if a speed increase happens, been due for long time. Less than 1Mbps in this age wth!

Also notice Alliance have started blocking some sites(mostly sports streaming sites I use) & giving this message

Thinking of switching over to Google DNS to see if it unblocks. Any help here if it will work regarding live streams?
