Port Forwarding on You Broadband

I am a user of you broadband and I have realized that my wan IP is different from my public IP .
Is this the reason why port forwarding never works for me?
Is there a way to solve this?
when i got in touch with the customer service they said that they do not block any ports.

Its called CG-NAT

ask customer care if they offer static ip

Got saved. I almost shifted to YOU Broadband for their open ports after reading this old post: ACT changed their network setup in HYD | ACT Fibernet . And yeah, they told me they don't block ports as well. They had feasibility issue to my place which is why I couldn't take the connection eventually.
