this is my readout. i have tremendous issues with bsnl, am using siemens sl2-141 router about 6 years old,bsnl engineer who came to see my connection on request tells me the modem is wonky,sometimes he says the OS(window 8) doesnt support bbnd-all this crap is irritating me.the dsl light comes up very late and therafter the connection doesnt get connected or disconnects fast.should i change my modem and buy a new one-how do i check my modem.incidentally i always get LIMITED power in wi fi mode.
please also suggest some good wi fi modem for this connection.budget Rs 2500 max,thanks.will rebooting the modem help-the bsnl chap tried that but the modem never rebooted -took a long time etc download speed1.66 Mb/s ,upload speed 0.40 Mb/s latency 85 ms- as recorded using speedtest.in
