Sending to bank accounts is easier (I feel) and has an option to send to own accounts quickly since pretty early - so find that useful there. Paying to contacts is easier in Google Pay - though cant say PhonePe is difficult as such.
Is it necessary (or useful) to have UPI accounts in so many accounts.
Initially I only had Google Pay and used only that for all payments. But Google Pay started failing on few occassion, so I shifted to Paytm UPI.
Then for some offer, I signed up Amazon UPI. And recently also signed up for Samsung Pay UPI.
I found only Google Pay was providing cashback consistently, never got cashback on any other UPI, except some discount with Amazon UPI.
Therefore I have stayed away from PhonePe, etc wallets.
PhonePe coupons are more or less useless. Today I found out that they don't even work. There was a coupon on Oral-B Electric Toothbrush. The most expensive model. Decided to check out how much it would cost. Not surprisingly but the coupon failed. Pinged PhonePe on Twitter, they passed on the blame on P&G saying they are not even in charge of the offers.
