"Personal Hotspot" issue with Jio connection in Apple iPad Mini (iOS: 9.3.5)

I just have acquired a Jio 4G SIM under "Jio Preview Offer" scheme. I have intended to use this SIM for my Apple iPad only for data purpose.

After activation of the connection, I have inserted it into my iPad & getting superb data speed. But I am facing trouble while setting up a "Personal Hotspot" to share my internet connection. While setting up the Personal Hotspot in my iPad settings, it says "To enable Personal Hotspot on this account, contact career". Refer to the below screenshot for the same which is self explanatory.

I was not expecting this issue as this error never appears on Android devices. I am positively looking for a technical solution to this error as I understand that Jio network is under beta phase & such issues needs to be addressed before the commercial launch of its network.

I am also sharing the below technical information:
Device Name: Apple iPad mini (64GB)
iOS version: 9.3.5

on iPad mini 2 cellular i was able to set up hotspot with restriction for 3 devices. May be as test you can put in any other providers sim setup hotspot and then try again with Jio.

Once you connect to Wifi you might get a carrier update. Did you get something like that ?. Last option is to backup the iPad and restore as new device to the latest iOS version and restore from backup your data.

Try connecting to wifi and leave it for few minutes to get the carrier update.

Hi Anshuman, I need a couple of clarifications...
1. Did you take your iPad to the Jio store when you got the SIM? As per my knowledge, you have to show them the device for them to note the IMEI.
2. How did you get the telephonic activation done? The iPad does not have dialling capability.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ketan, following are the answers to your queries:

1. I did not take my iPad to Jio store to get the SIM, instead I took my normal 4G enabled Android phone to generate the bar code necessary to get the SIM card.
2. I have done the tele-verification through that same phone, then inserted the SIM in my iPad.

Hope this will clarify your queries.
