PECULIAR BILLING

anyone experienced this before??I got connection in sep 9... in the bill my rent and usage was calculated from 09/09 to 30/09..no of days: 22total no of days: 30ratio : 22/30=0.733333333so my rent = 250*0.73333 = 183.333usage allowed = 409.6*0.7333 = 301(similarly calculate for ur first month)Initially what i thought was though we get connection in the middle we might pay rent 250 and allowed free usage is 0.4Gb.. so i tried to ultilize up to 400mb but this ratio factor was taken to calculate the rent and usage allowed.. as a result i paid extra amt for usage beyond 301.. (although rent was for used period only but usage allowed???)though i am under plan 250 amt was less but think if ur plan 500 or more..so new users for the first month wake up..

are you sure about what you have told?? check it properly dude, coz i got my dataone connetion for home 250. in the middle of the month, i finished the 400 MB thing in 5 days and my total usage was 789 MB or so and my bill was 460/-
so the billing was like addtnl. charge 329 MB, taking per MB as Re.1.2
i get ---> 1.2 *329 = 394, per day charges as 8Rs. my bill sholud have beeen much higher, I don't understand thier usage calculation funda, anyway I am not at lossing end with thier calualtion, so what i can conclude s that no matter when u get the connection datausage for that month remains the same.
if you ppl, have any similar experience do share it so that our friend can have some benefit.
 
I too got my first bill almost double of what I actually used. Out of 2 GB under my plan, I had only used 1.5 GB. Will go to the BSNL folks tomorrow and give them a piece of my mind. And if those morons can't justify my bill, will simply tell them to close my connection. I am lookinf fwd to see how thse sarkari babus can justify my bill.

I use Data One Busines-700 plan (2 GB) for day time surfing and at night I use Sify Night Unlimited 256 kbps @ Rs 545
