Not worried about penalizing. People land on https and their browser gets confused.

then just wait for few days and see how it turns out

Update: I was getting log out error while switching from http to https so I logged in to the https version, installed the 'https everywhere' chrome ext after that didn't got any error 🙂

this is what i do not get it. i end up loading both versions of the forum and i am logged in just fine on both. never had any issue with logouts.

the first day no loglout happened the next day it started, probably it happens only when you frequently switches between https and http

it may be some cookie domain related prob

Why you want https anyway on the forum ? I suggest disabling https completely. I'm unable to login through computer with comodo dragon browser(chromium based) . I can't delete broadbandforum.co in hsts settings. I don't know why but deleting hsts setting in opera is possible which is also based on chromium.

Internet explorer works fine but it sucks as always.

@ChairmanSaab
you can continue to browse the http version as usual, you shouldn't notice https unless you type https in the address bar

mtnl sucks to load the http version for me, so I need https

the world we live in, everything should be on HTTPS,even funny cat videos too. 😀

make it as difficult for "them" as possible. 🙂

chrome://net-internals/#hsts loads just fine in comodo. what problems are you facing?

It may load without any problem but i'm unable to delete 'broadbandforum.co' entry. When i do query it says broadbandforum.co is found but upon hitting 'delete' button nothing happens. It does it in instant on opera!

@ChairmanSaab i don't know of any VPN which is really free .

use a different browser there are plenty available 'completely' free.

Try surfeasy , PTPT free services (search on google) free services won't allow torrents though . I had my own VPS where i installed OpenVPN, it was stable and fast since i was the only one on 100mbps port. DDos sites is fun too! Oh wait..

Strange. In any case HSTS should not be needed to be removed as https is enabled on the forum.
Try resetting the browser if possible. That should also clear HSTS settings!
