@varkey Which router are you using right now. Make and model? How much upload speed do you get on 1277 plan?

I am on 1277 plan and get full 100 mbps uploads to most, if not all, locations in speedtests. I dont really monitor my upload in other places since i dont do it much.

I use an old Western Digital MyNet router on OpenWrt. I'm on the 50 Mbps plan and I get the full speed on WiFi and wired.

Yeah! I am actually getting around 123Mbps download & 113Mbps upload through LAN on PC. But my biggest contention is WiFi. I have a Gigabit AC1200 WiFi router but I can never reach 100Mbps in speedtest. Wondered why?

WiFi is half duplex.
It can never compete with Ethernet.

Then it should achieve those speeds theoretically.
But in real world there are many overheads.
Which model and make of router you use ?

5GHz, of course.

First check your link speed on 5ghz then do an iperf test and see how much speed you are getting. I get 460-500 Mbps on 5Ghz. My router is TP-Link c1200.

Link speed is 800 something. Do you get upto 100Mbps on speedtest?
