Online renewal with cards for prepaid tata indicom broadband

is anyone else having this problem?

i have been trying to renew my prepaid broadband account online on the tata indicom site:
Tata Indicom Broadband

when i click on:
Order online for instant and easy renewal
Click here to buy a renewal pack online

i have to login a 2nd time (pretty retarded but not quite award winning yet);
here is my history of recorded attempts since early feb [over 2 months old]:
ORDER NO. / order DATE / tariff PLAN name / PAY MODE / STATUS
1789664 / 2008-04-10 / Xtra Validity 3(M/D) / CC / Pending(No info from Bank)
1778376 / 2008-04-04 / Surf 1500 / CC / Pending(No info from Bank)
1667580 / 2008-02-09 / Quick Power 180 / Chq_OD / Successful, Pack Issued
1652973 / 2008-02-02 / Surf Power 3000 / CC Cancelled

when i click on the 'renew now' button; it goes to the page:

then i click on the 'continue' button to get this error:

each time i have called customer care @ 60607070
i have been informed that they 'cannot' issue me a complaint # since their system is up and no other customer has reported this problem in mumbai!

according to this moronic definition, the 1st customer who calls in a complaint is assumed to be wrong or a liar!!

i have been forced to make cheque payments since their credit card gateway does not seem to be working.

at their suggestion i tried both from:
[*]home [chembur] and work [kopar khairane]
[*]desktop [ibm] and laptop [zenith]
[*]browsers [MS IE & FF]
[*]other broadband locations [versova & mahim]
[/list]yet their agents keep insisting their is no problem and i should try again later!

the supervisor is usually busy so i can rarely talk to them.

how do i escalate this problem and prove i'm not lying to tata?

I tried renewing as you said and I was able to reach the page just before entering our net-banking website. So I get its some individual problem.Can other TI users also confirm?
 
yup.. selected credit card as the payment option. No problem. Reached the page You are about to renew the Account of ...... Click on Continue below.
 
netbanking is different from using cards online as a payment optionmaybe its something specific to my accountbut refusing to give a complaint number is still unprofessional if not unethical since unresolved complaints get escalated to the regulator...
 


i cant recharge with a credit card either...i have been tryin all day and its makin me mad with 12 calls and around 15 attempts to recharge im finally giving up and my account expires tomorrow.!!
 
Yes. Try IE. I also found problem with FF even when I tried to use it for Netbanking, I face problem where it asks for option for payment (CC, netbanking etc.) Here nothing happened after I click continue.But when I used IE, everything worked. Don't know why😕
