is anyone else having this problem?
i have been trying to renew my prepaid broadband account online on the tata indicom site:

when i click on:
Order online for instant and easy renewal
Click here to buy a renewal pack online
i have to login a 2nd time (pretty retarded but not quite award winning yet);
here is my history of recorded attempts since early feb [over 2 months old]:
ORDER NO. / order DATE / tariff PLAN name / PAY MODE / STATUS
1789664 / 2008-04-10 / Xtra Validity 3(M/D) / CC / Pending(No info from Bank)
1778376 / 2008-04-04 / Surf 1500 / CC / Pending(No info from Bank)
1667580 / 2008-02-09 / Quick Power 180 / Chq_OD / Successful, Pack Issued
1652973 / 2008-02-02 / Surf Power 3000 / CC Cancelled
when i click on the 'renew now' button; it goes to the page:

Please select the mode of payment that you wish to use.
Plan Selected: Xtra Validity 3(M/D)
Credit Card
Pay by Credit Card (Only Visa and MasterCard accepted)
then i click on the 'continue' button to get this error:
Sorry! There has been an error.
Please try again !!
each time i have called customer care @ 60607070
i have been informed that they 'cannot' issue me a complaint # since their system is up and no other customer has reported this problem in mumbai!
according to this moronic definition, the 1st customer who calls in a complaint is assumed to be wrong or a liar!!
i have been forced to make cheque payments since their credit card gateway does not seem to be working.
at their suggestion i tried both from:
[*]home [chembur] and work [kopar khairane]
[*]desktop [ibm] and laptop [zenith]
[*]browsers [MS IE & FF]
[*]other broadband locations [versova & mahim]
[/list]yet their agents keep insisting their is no problem and i should try again later!
the supervisor is usually busy so i can rarely talk to them.
how do i escalate this problem and prove i'm not lying to tata?
